The hmf iq defender hd front bumper is built from 0.095" steel tubing and offers an increased form of protection. the hd front bumper includes a 3/16" aluminum skid plate and the top bar supports a 4,500-pound winch and 6" fair lead (not included). the defender bumper is available in various colors and adds functionality and style to the front of the machine. built from 0.095" steel tubing. accepts most standard and wide spool winches up to 4,500 pounds. fits 6" utv fair lead (6" hole spacing). fairleads and winch sold separately. integrated light mount (some models; lights not included). notes: lights, winch and fairlead are all sold separately. does not fit 4-7/8" utv fair lead. honda talon owners, please see detailed specifications. warn axon winch mounting note: there is one drawback that applies only to certain mounting situations with the axon line of winches. due to the placement of the crossbars going across the winch drum, the winch does not mount or feed properly when the mount is in the vertical plane. for example, the axon winch fits exceptionally well on the hmf u4 front bumper for the polaris rzr pro xp, which has the winch mounting plate in the horizontal plane. however, with a bumper like the hd front bumper for the can-am maverick x3 and x3 max, the winch mount is set up slightly differently and the winch mounts to a vertical plate. this is a situation where the axon winch would not be the best choice.
